DescriptionMilwaukee Journal Sentinel article.

An excerpt..."Barring another challenge from Democrats, Ralph Nader will be on the presidential ballot in Wisconsin, the Elections Board ruled Tuesday.

In a close vote, the nine-member board allowed the candidate who captured 94,070 votes in Wisconsin in 2000 to stay on the ballot. All four Democratic appointees to the board voted in favor of booting Nader.

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin argued he should be left off because he didn't include an elector from one of the congressional districts in his nominating papers and because he is listed as an independent, even though he is affiliated with recognized political parties on presidential ballots in other states.

A Democratic Party official said the party would decide soon whether to file a lawsuit to try keeping Nader off the Nov. 2 ballot."
