| Description | A few days after state Sen. Gary Siplin canceled another scheduled television debate, his challenger decided she wanted an explanation.
Geraldine Thompson, Siplin's opponent in the Democratic primary for the District 19 state Senate seat, called a news conference Monday to question why Siplin canceled appearances with WMFE-Channel 24 and then WESH-NewsChannel 2 last week.
