Description | MONTGOMERY - Republican Justice Jean Brown says her six years as a justice of the state Supreme Court and two years as a judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals have shown her worthy of her party's nomination for re-election.
"I believe this race focuses on integrity, judicial philosophy, and judicial experience," Brown said.
She declined to discuss her opponent's claim that the single issue in the race is her vote with other justices to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the judicial building's rotunda.
"I believe the voters will make their choice based on judicial philosophy, integrity, experience," she said.
