Description | Ungava electoral district, the largest in the province by area, contains the following municipalities: Akulivik, Aupaluk, James Bay, Chapais, Chibougamau, Chisasibi, Eastmain, Inukjuak, Ivujivik, Kangiqsualujjuaq, Kangiqsujuaq, Kangirsuk, Kuujjuaq, Kuujjuarapik, Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Matagami, Mistissini, Nemiscau, Puvirnituq, Quaqtaq, Salluit, Tasiujaq, Umiujaq, Waskaganish, Waswanipi, Wemindji and Whapmagoostui.
It also contains the following reserved lands: Chisasibi, Eastmain, Mistissini, Nemis-cau, Waskaganish, Waswanipi, Wemindji and Whapmagoostui; the unorganized territories of Hudson Bay, Caniapiscau and Lac-Juillet; the First Nation settlement of Oujé-Bougoumou, the hamlet of Déception and the village of Purtuniq; the following Category I lands for the Inuit: Akulivik, Aupaluk, Inukjuak, Kangiqsualujjuaq, Kangiqsujuaq, Kangirsuk, Kiggaluk, Killiniq, Kuujjuaq, Kuujjuarapik, Quaqtaq, Salluit, Tasiujaq and Umiujaq; finally the unorganized territory of Rivière-Koksoak less the part comprised between latitudes 55 o 00' and 55 o 20' north, longitude 67 o 10' west and the limit of Quebec.
