Taylor; reelected to the Seventy-eighth, Seventy-ninth, and Eightieth Congresses and served from December 9, 1941, to January 3, 1949; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1948 to the Eighty-first Congress; resumed cattle ranching in Colorado; chairman of the board of directors of Tuttle & Rockwell Co., Hornell, N.Y., and Rockwell Co., Corning, N.Y.; died in Maher, Colo., September 29, 1950; interment in Hornell Cemetery, Hornell, N.Y.
