Info | Damian Kettlewell grew up in Vancouver actively working for social, environmental and corporate responsibility. He considers environmental stewardship, ethical business practices, and community advocacy to be top priorities for all future leaders. Damian is an entrepreneur and long time environmental promoter combining strong business acumen with social responsibility.
Damian Kettlewell has a long term commitment to the community in which he lives. He has strong private sector experience and "walks the talk" on sustainability. Damian is the co-founder and executive director of BC EcoEvents, a community group that has produced eleven educational and entertainment events over eight years raising awareness on specific environmental issues.
Damian has strong business acumen with successful tenures at the Future Shop, UniFirst and Obie Media. His professional success can be attributed to his exceptional leadership abilities that create an environment where diverse individuals can unite to form a cohesive team.
In 2004, Damian was a presenter at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Trade Show in Toronto speaking on the topic of "B.C.'s Investment Opportunity in the Hydrogen Economy" and is working with European business leaders at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Fair in Hannover
Damian holds an MBA in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a BA in Communications and Economics from Simon Fraser University.
Damian is a director of BALLE BC (Business Alliance for Local Living Economies) and Rivershed Society of BC, groups that inspire responsible stewardship of our land in business and in the community.
