| Info | My name is Derrick Arnold and I am running for Liberty County, County Commissioner in District 5. Those that know me know that I am a hardworking and honest man. I am a lifelong resident of Telogia and have been married to my wife Leslie for 10 years. We have two beautiful children, Anthony and Chesney who graduated from LCHS.
Our families have lived in Liberty County for multiple generations, and have a vested interest in the people of this great county. I am an avid hunter and fisherman and have had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this county for many years. I know where the state of the county was, is, and am looking forward to the opportunity to serve (if elected) along with the other 4 Commissioners to get this county to where it needs to be.
I am running for this office to give the citizens of Liberty County a voice and not just a select few. I would like to be the person that you all reach out to in order to voice your concerns. I am more than willing to reach out to and work with Local and State Leaders to get this county what is needed.
My qualifications are being a two time successful business owner. Through both, I have gained knowledge of bidding for jobs, payroll, budget management, working with State and Federal officials and regulations and how to be a servant leader. With my current business, which is completely debt free, I work 8 months of the year giving me ample time serve the county in a manner that it deserves.
