Info | "As the youngest of nine children, Doug Lucente learned that in order to be recognized he had to distinguish himself from others. He did this by taking on the role of a civic youth leader; and in doing so was honored as Lexington Outstanding Youth of the Year, in recognition of his exceptional service to the community. Doug graduated from Lexington High School in 1992.
Doug graduated from American University, in Washington D.C., in 1996. As a member of the School of Public Affairs’ leadership program Doug had the unique opportunity to work within the government while attending school. He was a White House intern under the Clinton Administration and worked closely with White House leaders on many different pieces of bi-partisan legislation. Following his internship, Doug took a position at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a policy analyst, and worked his way through college in this capacity.
Doug received his J.D. in 2000 from Suffolk University Law School.
Doug Lucente understands the problems facing our community and through continued dedication to service he has sought to alleviate them. He has been an elected member of the Lexington Town Meeting, for the past seven years. Doug is the current President of the Lexington chapter of the Lions Club International, the world's largest service organization. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Visiting Nurses and Community Health, Inc. (VNCH), which is headquartered in Arlington, and serves 22 surrounding communities, including Arlington, Billerica, Burlington, Lexington, and Woburn. VNCH seeks to solve healthcare problems associated with distributing treatment in this difficult economic climate. Doug also serves as an Adult Advisor with the Lexington Youth Commission; he mentors local youth who promote service to our communities.
Small Business Owner: Doug appreciates the sacrifices and hard work it takes to own and operate a business. Doug is an attorney and the principal owner of ProMedical LLC, a medical consulting firm that works with local hospitals to settle workers’ compensation and motor vehicle issues. Doug began working with the firm as an analyst eight years ago; within the first two years he had become the President of the firm, and has since gone on to take partial ownership of the business.
Family: Doug and wife Kristin were married in 2002. Daughter Madelyn was born in October 2003."
