| Info | Terry Dodd and his wife Wendy have lived in the Town of Parker for nearly 25 years. Terry and Wendy have three children and now 2 grandchildren who attend Parker schools.
Terry's service to Douglas County Republicans started in 2008 as a precinct committee person and delegate to County and State assemblies and includes: Chairman House District 44 from 2018 to 2022; Vice Chairman of HD44 from 2010 to 2018, Bonus Member to the Colorado State GOP Central Committee since 2021and; District Captain from 2020 to 2022. Terry is proud to have served on the vacancy committee that selected Kim Ransom as the HD44 candidate in 2014.
Terry has over 40 years of experience in construction management and the real estate industry in Colorado since 1979. Terry holds a bachelor's degree in financial management and has an in depth understanding of economics, finance and development issues.
Terry truly enjoys serving our community as a long-time resident of Parker, whether in church, local non- profit organizations or simply mentoring young professionals. Terry is a proven champion for Parker residents and will take that passion to the Colorado State House to make sure the Legislature hears our concerns and makes solid decisions for the people of Douglas County and for the people of the State of Colorado.
TERRY'S PHILOSOPHY
History teaches whenever a society surrenders freedom in pursuit of safety, its people fall victim to evil forces and men. The natural rights bestowed by our Creator are essential to protect us physically, financially, mentally, and spiritually. The safety of our person, family and community requires the defense of our unalienable rights. We are wisely told to “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it…”; “Fear not…”, and “…Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law…”. People who believe the lies of tyrants empower despotism. Despotic men use false science and propaganda to create mass fear to steal the rights, wealth, production, life, and worship of the people.
Many rights have been whittled away over many generations hidden within seemingly innocuous legislation. The mundane task of ferreting out subversive agenda must be met with persistent passion and a keen awareness.
