Info | Tony Grady is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, retired FedEx pilot, husband, and father of 4.
Commissioned through the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tony served in the US Air Force from 1977 until his retirement in 1997. Tony built this career from first flying a B-52D at Carswell AFB to flying several first flights as a test pilot in the development of the B-2 Bomber, including the first night terrain following evaluation flight. He became the Combined Test Team Director and the head test pilot for the T-1A Jayhawk which led him to commanding the 420th Test Squadron prior to his retirement from the military. Tony then joined FedEx in 1997 where he spent 20 years as a pilot and instructor. While working at the Pentagon he helped manage force structure and authored the U.S. bomber contribution to the President’s budget.
