InfoColin MacEachern is a strong believer in government that works towards equity and justice for all citizens and respect for individuals.

He believes that the education system must be reformed to raise expectations for all students and provide sufficient classroom resources for all types of learners. Colin feels we must improve our use of the currently available tax dollars for education and reform funding of post secondary studies so that areas of study that are in demand in Nova Scotia are given priority.

Colin feels that Nova Scotia needs to elect a government with vision that creates greater opportunities for individuals to realize their potential. Colin feels our governing representatives must move away from reactionary policies that see us responding to issues far too late (e.g. auto insurance). He also believes that Nova Scotians must help our youth to make healthier lifestyle choices.

Colin believes that we should grow our economy through wise investment in areas in which we can compete on a free market. Through this, we will grow our tax base. Better schools, hospitals and roads will soon follow.

Colin sees much potential in his riding and feels that expanding tourism in Dartmouth should be a priority in the years to come.
