Henry, 51, is a lifelong resident of Ozark and is married to the former Frances Woods. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He is the son of Frances R. Steagall and the late Henry B. Steagall, II.
Steagall graduated from Auburn University in 1970, and the University of Alabama Law School in 1973. After completing his obligation to the U.S. Army, he began the general practice of law in Ozark. He also served as Deputy District Attorney and in 1986, was awarded a certificate for outstanding service to the people of Dale County. He has served as a municipal judge for over 20 years, is a former member of the Alabama State Conservation Advisory Board, and is a member of the Alabama Wildlife Federation and has served on it’s Board of Directors. He is a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
In 1986, Steagall began a specialized practice in civil litigation in State and Federal courts.
