| Info | Samantha ‘Sammie’ Brooks graduated from Garner High School in 2004. She is a mother of three beautiful children and wife of Brad Brooks. Sammie has lived both in Wake County North Carolina and Florida. She loves and appreciates nature, our public spaces and especially our beaches.
Sammie has worked a variety of demanding jobs in the service industry and understands how hard many people work just to make ends meet.
Sammie has also home schooled one of her children. Sammie appreciates that every child and every family will at different points in time need flexible solutions to ensure their child receives the education they deserve.
Most importantly, Sammie has learned from her own life experiences, her family and travels that every person is unique and should have the opportunity to be the person they want to be and pursue the dreams they wish to pursue.
Government needs principled leaders with integrity
A just government treats everyone equally and doesn’t waste our tax dollars. This is exactly who Libertarians are. We pledge to be both tolerant and responsible — not a claim either of the current major parties can make.
Parents should be able to choose the best schools for their children. Where funding comes from is less important than choice because choice drives competition and competition increases quality.
Housing affordability is a key issue and the way to address that is to allow the market to expand. Zoning restrictions must be removed. And the government simply doesn’t need to be in the liquor business.
Voting Libertarian means voting for freedom, tolerance, equal treatment and integrity.
