Lisa Chammings has served on the Stillwater Township Committee since 2012. She ousted republican Committeeman Bill Morrison in the 2011 primary she went on the general election unopposed gararing 71% of the vote. She was re-elected in 2014 with 96% of the vote, and again in 2017 with 74% over democrat Michael Grace. In 2020 she received a primary challenge from Michael Stillwagon. Chammings easily beat him getting 83% of the vote. She has served as Mayor of Stillwater from 2016-2017; and since 2018. She also served as Deputy Mayor from 2015-2016.
