| Info | Having graduated from Carlisle High School in 1963, Dick attended Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. After working as a public school teacher in Elizabethtown and Carlisle, he joined Sprint (formerly The United Telephone Company of Pennsylvania) as a management trainee. During his career at Sprint, Dick held numerous management positions in business sales and service. In January of 2003, after working for thirty-three years, Dick accepted an early retirement at Sprint. At the time of his retirement, he was Sprint’s General Manager for Education and Government Sales in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Since his retirement, Dick has actively participated in the community’s educational program as a public school teacher on a substitute basis.
