Civic involvement: My volunteer focus has been youth sports. I have coached and officiated youth soccer in AYSO and at the club level over the course of more than 10 years. I've coached youth basketball a few seasons. I have volunteered several weeks for Habitat for Humanity. I serve as the medical director for the Dubuque and Asbury fire departments.
