| Info | Art was born in Los Angeles and at a young age moved to Azusa when his parents purchased their first home after making the hard decision to flee their country that was being torn apart by a terrible civil war. Traveling separately and alone, determination and courage to start a better life for themselves and for their families landed them in Los Angeles, California. The choice to come to the United States was easy. Not only was it close in proximity, but the opportunities were limitless. With an adamant will and humble upbringing, Arturo's parents knew what was important in life-Freedom. They saw their journey as an opportunity to expand their freedom and have not looked back since.
Starting in Los Angeles, Arturo and his parents worked their way into a safer suburb, Azusa and later West Covina. Arturo attended Christ Lutheran and Mesa Elementary, Sierra Vista Middle School, and South Hills High School where he proudly served as captain of the men's varsity soccer team. He enjoyed growing up in the San Gabriel Valley where according to him, "the best of everything" is located. It is the community, thriving small businesses, and good education system that drew Arturo's family and continue to keep them proud residents in the area.
The optimism and hard work ethic that Art was raised with instilled in him a passion to succeed so that he may continue the family tradition of growing and helping others to become established. Real estate provided him the opportunity to meet with various people and help them to buy their first home. Since starting, Art has congratulated young couples, shaken the hands of satisfied families who never thought they could own a home, and consoled those who thought they might lose what they have worked endlessly for. The human interaction and adrenaline rush of helping make another family's dream a reality keep Art motivated to work.
Currently, Art is a successful real estate agent at Dilbeck Real Estate in Pasadena. When he first started, he told his manager that he was going to sell million dollar properties. Through his diligent work, Art has been able to expeditiously meet this ambitious goal. His client base has grown due to his expertise, care, and excellent negotiation skills.
Art was recently elected to his second term on the Executive Board of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County, the largest county Republican Party in the nation. Art currently serves as the second Vice-Chair and is responsible for public outreach. As a member of the Executive Committee, Art focuses on oversight and budgetary issues. In addition to his work with the LA GOP, Art is a delegate to the Republican Party of California, where he is recognized as a leader in the Latino community working with elected officials and community activists to spread our common message of conservative values, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and personal freedom.
