Info | Rob Milligan is a native of Quinte West who operates a small beef farm in nearby Trent Hills. He has also taught community youth as a high school teacher at the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board’s Campbellford District High School since 1998.
As a teacher and a family man, Rob understands the plight of families in his riding and is seeking to represent the people of Northumberland Quinte West at Queen’s park. His concern is that local families are working harder and saving less because of the McGuinty Liberals’ tax hikes and expensive energy experiments. He believes that a PC government would give his constituents and all Ontario families’ real relief and a chance to catch up.
A dedicated volunteer, Rob has devoted countless hours to the Percy Minor Hockey Association as an executive member and referee-in-chief. These positions are known to be thankless in nature, but are extremely important to the operation of a local minor hockey association. In addition to his work with minor hockey, Rob has also volunteered with the local Army Cadet Corps.
A committed husband and father, Rob has been married to his wife Rebecca for nearly a decade and has two young daughters, ages seven and eight. When Rob has free time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing pick-up hockey, and fishing. As a member of a PC government in Ontario, Rob pledges to promote policies that will be beneficial to his future constituents, working hard even for those who are not yet eligible to give him their vote.
