| Info | Mark was appointed Chief Deputy for the Sheriff's Department by Sheriff Charles Morelli in 2004. Mark became Acting Sheriff after Sheriff Morelli passed away in March 2009. A Special Election was held in November 2009 for the remaining term of the late Sheriff Morelli.
Mark won that election overwhelmingly. He was sworn in as Sheriff of Wayne County in January 2010.
