| Info | Mr. Herzog is a graduate of Lackawanna Junior College and the University of New Haven, with a B.S. in Accounting. In 1997 he completed the Pennsylvania County Commissioners Association Academy for Excellence. Tony was president of Herzog Trucking Co. Inc, of Honesdale from 1982 to 2004. and he worked for the company for a total of 33 years. First elected to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners in 1987.
He is a member of St. John's and St. Mary's Parish, the Knights of Columbus, the Honesdale Lions Club, Wayne County Farmers Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Texas Rod and Gun Club, Alert Hook and Ladder Company, and the Wayne County Family Center Board. In 1998 Tony was appointed by the Governor to the State Transportation Advisory Committee, and continues to serve in that position.
Tony resides in Cherry Ridge Township with his wife, the former Sharon Akers, retired teacher from Honesdale High School. They have two children, Andrea and Steven and three grandchildren. Emma and Brady Herzog and Heather O'Hara.
