HULL P. MAYNARD JR. of Shrewsbury, Rutland County, Republican, was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on August 8, 1934, and became a resident of present town on December 1, 1962. Occupation: independent insurance agent. He was educated in elementary schools in Windsor, Connecticut; Loomis-Chaffee School, Windsor, Connecticut; Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont and attended the University of Connecticut Law School. He is married to the former Joanna Taft, and they have two daughters, Jill and Sarah, and two sons, Hull III and Todd. Member of: National Federation of Independent Business (past member of the Guardian Council); Shrewsbury justice of the peace; Rutland Chamber, Legislative Issues Committee; former Shrewsbury overseer of the poor, civil defense chair, and planning commission member; Rutland Rotary, past president; Independent Insurance Agents of Vermont, past president; Rutland Mental Health, past president and board member.
