Both sets of Chris Riggs’ grandparents moved to Corona in the early 1960’s, relocating from Indiana and Ohio. Chris and Kimberley (CSUF B.A. Dance, & National University, Teaching Credential Program), are both life long residents of Corona. They began dating in high school and have been blessed with three wonderful children during their 5 years of marriage. Chris’ parents are both members of the local business community, his only sibling Ryan is a United States Marine, and Kimberley, since the birth of their first son, has been a stay at home mom. Prior to having children, Chris & Kimberley spent years serving as church junior high youth group leaders and camp counselors.
Chris, with an extensive background in finance, is currently a commercial real estate broker in Southern California. He closed in excess of $20 million in transactions in his first three years in the real estate business. Prior to his career in investment property and land sales, Chris worked as an independent financial consultant. His experience in commercial real estate, coupled with a pervasive knowledge of estate and tax planning will be invaluable tools in his quest for reform and fiscal responsibility in Washington D.C.
Chris, an avid reader, studies the Bible daily, and enjoys works such as The Federalist Papers, Commentaries of The Lincoln Douglas Debates, and anything penned by C.S. Lewis. He loves music as well, in particular Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, and The David Crowder Band. His greatest passion of all however, is spending time with his wife and kids, whether at an Angel game or barbecuing in the backyard.
