| Info | Jennifer graduated third in her class from Stroudsburg High School in 1986. She then obtained her bachelors degree in Communications with minors in Economics and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. After college, she received her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law in 1993. While at Dickinson, she received the Order of Barristers award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She was also a member of the Mock Trial Team and the President of the Mock Trial Board at Dickinson.
Attorney Sibum entered the legal profession in 1993 as law clerk to Monroe County President Judge Ronald E. Vican. After her clerkship, she became an associate with Newman, Williams, Mishkin, Corveleyn, Wolfe & Fareri, P.C., where she practiced family, education, real estate and zoning law, serving individuals, business entities, municipalities and school districts. In 2000, she opened her own law office, continuing her previous civil practice and adding substantial criminal litigation experience as well. She has served as Special Public Defender, Monroe County Protection from Abuse Advocate and as a Standing Guardian Ad Litem, representing the interests of children in the care of the Court as a result of abuse and neglect. She has also served as solicitor, assistant solicitor or Special Counsel to the Pleasant Valley, Stroudsburg Area and Pocono Mountain School Districts, the Smithfield Township Zoning Hearing Board and the Smithfield Sewer Authority.
