InfoMr. Vrdolyak was a City of Chicago Ward Committeemen from 1968 - 1988 and an Alderman from 1971 to 1987, where he served as President of the City Council under two mayors from 1977 to 1983. Mr. Vrdolyak also served as the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Cook County from 1982 to 1988. Mr. Vrdolyak's determination, hard-work and leadership qualities were most evident during his distinguished political career as a prominent alderman, party chairman and perhaps most notably City of Chicago mayoral candidate. Following his political career Mr. Vrdolyak served as a highly rated talk show host from 1993 to 1996 on WLS AM and WJJD AM. Since he left government and radio, Mr. Vrdolyak has devoted all of his professional efforts to the practice of law.

Mr. Vrdolyak is a member of numerous societies, associations and organizations and has served on a number of civic and charitable organizations and boards. Mr. Vrdolyak currently resides in the City of Chicago with his wife Denise. He enjoys working alongside his three sons, Peter, John and Eddie and spending time with his nine grandchildren.
