Toprani is a partner in the South Hills law firm of Toprani and Popojas. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Although he is not a prosecutor, Toprani said he received some training from the U.S. Attorney's office at Duquesne University Law School. He is a Republican committeeman and serves on the county GOP executive board and as the party's solicitor.
