| Info | Warco, a Democrat, has served as county coroner since January 1992, when he replaced longtime Coroner Farrell Jackson, who retired.
Over the past 15 years, Warco pointed out that he has stayed within his budget, and has completed 178 hours of continuing education in medical, legal and death investigation classes.
A Washington native, Warco graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He also is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
His office currently has four board-certified pathologists under contract to perform post-mortem examinations, while a board-certified toxicologist and one forensic odontologist and anthropologist are under contract on an as-needed basis.
