| Info | Restaurateur and property investor Dobie To is the proud Liberal candidate for Calgary East.
Currently working in the hospitality industry, Mr. To was the Liberal candidate for Red Deer in 1993 and 1997. He believes this invaluable experience will help him win the Calgary East riding.
Mr. To was the CEO of the family business, which had restaurants and property investments in Red Deer from 1977 to 1999. He is in the process of resuming his involvement with the Calgary Police Service as a Business Liaison Volunteer in Chinatown (2003-04).
Mr. To considers himself the quintessential Canadian politician with a diverse background and multiple language skills ready to serve all Canadians. He looks forward to contributing his energy and devotion to better the lives of fellow Canadians, particularly in the areas of personal safety, health care, the economy and employment.
Born in Hong Kong in 1952, Mr.To is married with three adult children.
