Info | Rep. Jeff Harris, a Democrat, represents part of the City of Columbia (District 23) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002.
Rep. Harris is the Chief Deputy Whip of the Democratic Caucus in the House of Representatives, and he was recently appointed to the Governor�s Commission on the Future of Higher Education. Rep. Harris also serves as the Missouri representative on the State Legislative Advisory Board of the Democratic Leadership Council.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Harris is an attorney.
A 1983 graduate of David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, Mo., Rep. Harris graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Vanderbilt University in 1987, and received his juris doctor from Cornell Law School in 1991. He was a member of the Cornell Law Review.
