| Info | Frank James Matthews III, formerly known as God's Gangster for his work throughout American in the reduction of gang, crime and drug activity, was born in the tough streets of Cleveland OH, on April 10, 1956. After much trouble with the law, he earned a pardon for his wayward lifestyle. Frank Matthews then went on to create and produce “In Your Face”, a Television talk show that aired in seven states and featured many prolific guests such as Tiger Woods, former President Bill Clinton, Johnny Cochran, and many more.
Frank Matthews, in spite of his past, distinguished himself by running for State Representative, District 58, Birmingham, AL and city Council, District 2 Birmingham, AL, and in 2003 Matthews made a run for Mayor of the City of Birmingham.
Frank Matthews has been a radio personality throughout Birmingham for the last six years and is know for his brash style. Matthews was a trailblazer in Bringing 21st century activism radio to Alabama.
