| Description | Center-right feminist, anti-Erdoğanist party founded by Meral Akşener, Parliament's former Deputy Speaker (August 10, 2007–June 7, 2015) and presidential candidate in 2018 (reaching 4th place). Party members split from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) over the MHP's support of the 2017 Constitution which changed Turkey's parliamentary system into an executive presidency, and seeks support from other individuals disillusioned with the MHP. Party uses the tamga or symbol of the Kayi tribe as its logo. Party is chaired by Meral Akşener and holds 42 seats in the 600-seat GNA [İyi Parti (İYİ)]. |
