| Description | Conservative party begun as the parliamentary group "Solidarna Polska" founded on November 7, 2011 and consisting of 16 former Law and Justice deputies in the Sjem and one senator. Group was formed in protest over the removal of three of these members from the European Parliament on November 4, 2011. Party was announced as the "Solidarna Polska Zbigniewa Ziobro" (until shortened in 2018) on January 21, 2012 and registered in March. Party preached "Solidaryzm" ("Solidarism"), which recognizes the fundamental role of a community of interests in social life and is anti-elitist. Party leader was Zbigniew Ziobro. On April 26, 2023, the party announced that it would dissolve itself effective May 3, 2023. It reemerged on May 19, 2023 as "Suwerenna Polska" or "Sovereign Poland" [Solidarna Polska (SP); Solidarity Poland]. |
