Elizabeth Warren to announce Senate bid Wednesday

| Description | Democrat Elizabeth Warren will officially announce her candidacy for the Massachusetts Senate on Wednesday, her spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
Warren, a professor at Harvard Law School, will run against Scott Brown, a Tea Party Republican who won the seat in a 2010 special election.
According to the Associated Press, Warren will spend the day on Wednesday greeting voters across the state.
"The pressures on middle-class families are worse than ever, but it is the big corporations that get their way in Washington," Warren said in a Tuesday statement. "I want to change that. I will work my heart out to earn the trust of the people of Massachusetts." |
