Description | Wearing a sweater and jeans on a cold January afternoon, Vincent Morgan cracked a wry smile in the small Harlem office that houses his upstart Congressional campaign.
"Do I look like a Ford?" he asked.
He does -- tall and slender, green eyes, close-cropped black hair and freckles across the face.
And for good reason: Morgan is a Ford. He's the son former state Sen. John Ford abandoned in Chicago 40 years ago.
Despite all the news of Harold Ford Jr.'s possible U.S. Senate campaign in New York, few have noticed that the former Memphis congressman isn't the only Ford family member running for elected office in the Big Apple. Morgan, Harold Ford Jr.'s cousin, is trying to unseat U.S. Rep. Charles B. Rangel in the Democratic primary. |
