DescriptionFranklin County Auditor Joe Testa soon will resign his office after 17 years at the post, the head of the Franklin County Republican Party confirmed this afternoon.

"Auditor Testa has let us know that he intends to leave office in the not-too-distant future," said Doug Preisse, chairman of the Franklin County GOP.

"He has been an exemplary public servant, and we will be sad to see him leave this form of public service but wish him all the best in the next steps of his career."
