| Description | Charleston, S.C. - The union representing Charleston firefighters has endorsed Mayoral candidate William Gregorie in his bid to oust incumbent Mayor Joe Riley (website - news - bio).
Union President Roger Yow was sharply critical of Riley's handling of the aftermath of the Sofa Super Store fire that killed nine firemen.
"We are appalled at actions of Mayor Riley. He still keeps his eyes and ears closed to the facts," Yow said at an afternoon news conference. |
