Jersey City Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham, who has had the city abuzz with the superhero exploits of his comic book alter ego Mayor-Man, continued to ride a wave of media interest in his unique brand of campaigning when he appeared on the Fox News Channel to discuss "The Adventures of Mayor-Man," a comic book that features him flying through the city to catch crooks and save school children from speeding cars.
During a mid-morning interview yesterday on the all-news cable channel, Cunningham described the comic book - as he has on several occasions - as a way to reach out to students as he campaigns for state Senate and, eventually, for re-election as mayor in 2005."
