Description | An Alaska ruling has entered the fray of Nebraska politics. Supporters of Nebraska Congressman Tom Osborne began Wednesday what they hope will be a write-in campaign to get the former Nebraska football coach elected governor.
They asked the Nebraska Supreme Court to rule that supporters can write-in Osborne's name on the November ballot. Osborne lost the Republican primary to Governor Dave Heineman. The complaint was filed by 1972, Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers and NU football trainer Doak Ostergard. |
