InfoRep. Rick Johnson, a Democrat, represents part of Jefferson County (District 90) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Johnson is an attorney. From 1989-1993, Rep. Johnson served in the U.S. Navy. During that time he served on board nuclear ballistic missile submarines during the Persian Gulf War.

Rep. Johnson is a member of the following organizations: House Springs Lions Club, VFW, the American Legion and the Northwest Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. He attends the First Evangelical Free Church.

Rep. Johnson has been awarded the National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal and has also earned his "Dolphins," a decoration for submarine service qualification.

A 1987 graduate of Crawford County R-II High School, Rep. Johnson graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in English from Charleston Southern University in 1997 and received a juris doctorate in 1997 from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating Order of Barristers.

Born July 15, 1969, in Eau Claire, Wis., Rep. Johnson currently lives in High Ridge with his wife, Crista R. Johnson, and their son, Richard, Jr., born May 16, 2000.
