Info | Blair Wilson was first elected as the Member of Parliament for West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country in 2006. Mr. Wilson is the Associate Finance Critic.
Born and raised in North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia. Blair is deeply committed to the issues facing the residents of North and West Vancouver, the Sea to Sky Corridor and the entire Sunshine Coast.
Blair holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria and earned a Chartered Accountants designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
As a Chartered Accountant, Blair worked for Ernst and Young in Vancouver before opening his own CA firm in North Vancouver. Balancing work and family, he currently owns a successful restaurant in Vancouver, Wilson's Steakhouse, next to the Terry Fox Memorial on Beatty Street.
Raising his family in West Vancouver, Blair has been involved in a wide range of civic activities including chairing "The 2010 Rally on Robson" which was instrumental in securing the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games for our riding.
Blair passionately believes in providing affordable and accessible education, maintaining balanced fiscally responsible budgets, and providing his constituents with a strong voice in Parliament that reflects the interests of all constituents.
He and his wife Kelly have been married for fifteen years and they have two children. Blair is actively involved in the West Vancouver United Church and
supports a variety of community initiatives including the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation, North Shore Family Services and the Coho Society of the North Shore.
