InfoNate Glubish is a proud resident of Sherwood Park, Alberta where he lives with his wife Allison and their busy 3 year old son, Max.

Nate was first elected as the MLA for Strathcona-Sherwood Park during the last election. In addition to his role as MLA, Nate proudly served the Government in Cabinet as the Minister for Technology and Innovation and the Minister of Service Alberta.

Born in Edmonton, Nate was raised in Saskatoon where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance, at the University of Saskatchewan before moving back to the Edmonton area in 2004 to start his career.

Nate has dedicated his professional life to facilitating investment in Alberta technology companies. He began his career with Foundation Equity, an investment firm, where over 8 years he rose to Partner and participated in the negotiation and success of more than $40 million in technology business investments.

He then spent four years at the Edmonton head office of NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services, where he managed their mergers and acquisitions efforts, investing over $150 million to buy 8 companies and grow their operations across North America. These transactions generated significant interest from the Private Equity investment community, which resulted in the sale of a majority stake in NCSG to one of the largest Canadian private equity firms.

Prior to his election in 2019, Nate worked for Vancouver-based Yaletown Partners, a Venture Capital fund, where he oversaw investments into Alberta-based technology companies.

On a more personal note, Nate loves to play piano and guitar at his local church. He also spent two years touring across Canada with Rend, a pop-rock band that won the 2014 Rock Recording of the Year at the Edmonton Music Awards.
