InfoMargaret is a native Floridian, born in Pensacola in 1946, graduated from North Texas State University in 1970 with a BS in Education, moved to Broward County in 1973, has been a teacher as well as a successful Realtor for over 20 years and has two grown children.

Margaret takes her Christian faith seriously, is a member of the Christian Coalition National, State, and Broward County chapters. She has been referred to as an “equal opportunity antagonist,” speaking out on issues no matter which party is affected, and can be trusted to do what is right, not politically expedient or politically correct. She has been a political activist since 1976 in Broward County and is active in the Republican Party. In the early 1980's she ran for Plantation City Council, was appointed by the first woman County Commissioner, Democrat Anne Kolb, to the County Land Use Planning Board. In 2002 she ran for the Broward School Board and presently serves as a member of the School Board's Diversity Committee, being appointed in 2002 by Democratic county wide School Board member, Darla Carter. Margaret is also a member of the influential, non-partisan Broward Days organization and a member of the American Chamber of Christians in Business.
