| Info | Chess Bedsole was born in Mobile, Alabama, on April 20, 1971. Chess considers himself fortunate to have grown up in the company of his two large extended families, and he is especially close to the “Depression Generation,” his grandparents.
Chess graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and chose the University of Alabama for the receipt of his law degree. After earning a Master of Laws in taxation, Chess went to Washington, D.C., where he served as Counsel to United States Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC), then-Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Currently, Chess is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Roundtable at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, and he retains his membership in the Alabama Bar Association. He is founder and president of a data management company serving law firms, doctors’ offices, banks and insurance companies.
Chess married the former Jenna McCammon at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham , where they attend services. The Bedsoles were blessed with a daughter, Helen Ann Bedsole, on November 14, 2005.
