My assumption is that he will run to be the Never Trump Candidate, to prevent this independent bid

Another poll out, showing Trump out front big. But I can't see to find some of the details needed to post.

We just got rid of the last Kennedy in office, we don't need another political dynasty to replace them.

So does this mean his daughter-in-law isn't running?

Southern_Moderate2: So does this mean his daughter-in-law isn't running?
She said at the rally she wasn't running for US Senate in 2022, but she'll "probably run in the future.
Watch out liberal Tom Tillis.

Cawthorn will be taking the "principled" stand and switching his endorsement to Budd within 72 hours because he is nothing if not an honorable sycophant!

I wish she would run.

Hikikomori Blitzkrieg!: I wish she would run.
Why? She has nothing to offer but a name she married into.

Oh, I apparently forgot the other candidates were all such noted statesmen.

She might be a tough sell to the state GOP faithful. She hasn't lived in the state in years.

I'm honestly surprised Trump endorsed Budd. It seems like McCrory and Walker were already pretty well-established candidates and had a good shot at winning. I don't know much about Budd.

McCrory is the voice of the NeverTrump Republican tho.
Walker, IDK, I'm guessing he is the middle man of. Just enough Pro and Anti Trump Stuff to satiate both crowds

Pat McCrory loves all of you.
|
|
|
And hates the Trans people...
|
|
|
Ironically McCrory was one of the most progressive Republicans on LGBT rights at the time until he got caught up in the HB2 drama.

|
|
Thats probably a bit too generous, its probably just a level of him taking a Libertarian route of ignoring the issue

U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers endorsed U.S. Representative Mark Walker.

Even Pat McCrory polls aren't good news for Pat McCrory.

What he's hoping for is a TEA party split and another Cal to enter the scene lol
