In Case you're editing the districts

The Candidate Deadline is April 7th.

Thanks! I'm working West to East on closing out the outgoing parliament, adding new maps, and any leftover 2025 date changes. Thanks for your work on dates and candidates!

oh you're doing west to east? Should I start on the west or east changing the 2025 election dates?

Whichever direction you wish. I think I completed BC and Saskatchewan with maps and dates; I will double-check Alberta before starting Manitoba. I will inevitably slow down when I hit Ontario and Quebec.

Thanks for your work!

Good news we've got the correct election date set for every riding in canada I think. The only hard part is waiting for Elections Canada to declare close of nominations because we've had so many switches

I appreciate y'all updating the dates on the races. That's exactly the sort of thing that feels extremely tedious to me and sets off my procrastination impulse.

Not that I'm gonna get it but there's a handful of districts that I would love polling on. Abbotsford-South Langley I'd love a poll on because I have a theory Mike de Jong is going to take a chunk of vote from the Tory candidate and allow Kevin Gillies to sneak up the middle and win in a vote split.

Hey am I able to change the 338 predictions? I know it's day of election but I'd like fix the projections.

Would someone with better knowledge about the Canadian races give a quick overview of the races? It seems to me that thus far a chunk of the NDP voters are going with the Liberals to ensure the defeat of the Conservatives - but maybe that's just the few races that I have clicked on. Are any races surprises thus far? Any trends of note?

There really aren't a lot of NDP voters in Atlantic Canada, which is all the votes that are in so far.

Conservatives appear to be doing somewhat better than expectations in the Atlantic provinces. I'm expecting more regional than national trends so I wouldn't read much of anything into that, though.
