so I got the town map up (the AP results are reported by town in Maine, and reported slowly)... only real peculiarities involve the counties in the 2nd congressional district where there's a bunch of unorganized townships where nobody lives (or if people live there, their votes are counted along with the votes of the nearest organized town). Some of those are on the map now, some aren't.

Also, there may be some naming differences between the AP and what is on here, and I tried to keep the 'plantations' and townships in a different category than the cities/towns. So it's like Massachusetts in the sense of having some effort to enter stuff.

But it does allow for maps for the multi-town Maine legislature districts (and a visualization of the amount of empty space in some areas).

I'm currently adding town data from the Lampi collection, but it only displays after 1900.

The Start Date on the maps RBH put in are all 1/1/1900

Oh, Susan Collins is very disappointed about that.

The Maine-Lebanon-Norfolk Island axis would be unstoppable!

Depending on one's background, people moving from Lebanon to Maine could move to Lewiston to be around Maine's Muslim population, or move to Lewiston to be around Maine's French Catholic population
