Quite the opposite, it's in the most objective sense way more in the interest of the US if we just said "smell you later" and refused to send a single dollar to Israel If the US didn't support Israel, everyone in this picture would be alive right now

Osama bin Laden is VERY EXPLICTLY being quoted as saying the reason he did 9/11 was because "the American people have chosen, consented to, and affirmed their support for the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians, the occupation and usurpation of their land, and its continuous killing, torture, punishment and expulsion of the Palestinians. The American people have the ability and choice to refuse the policies of their Government and even to change it if they want." Its not a justification for it, as there's no justification for 9/11, its literally just Cause and Effect | |||
