I think it's pretty obvious that if the Democrats re-nominate Cuomo, they may well lose. It's hardly guaranteed, but neither does it seem far-fetched. New York is good for the Democrats, and people tend to vote straight party tickets these days...but Cuomo could lose loyal Democratic voters. That's difficult to do in today's hyper-partisan environment, but Cuomo has managed it.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, including current and former government workers, and retaliated against at least one of the women for making her complaints public, according to a much anticipated report from the New York State attorney general released on Tuesday. [Link]

I guess he could be impeached too if he doesn't resign.

The level of cognitive dissonance evident within both Cuomo's own actions and statements and those of his personal representatives astounds me daily. This guy is a veritable psychopath, even by the standards of politics -- one who, and I think it was BrentinCO who initially made a comment to this effect in this thread, appears to have never advanced beyond the chest-thumping, arrogant machismo of his adolescence; a juvenile tendency, I might add, that is altogether too familiar.

|
|
|
He doesn't, the Dem Party bascially just told him "Sorry ur on ur own" and that means there's no route for him to not be primaried by ANYONE else

Jeez. Watching that resignation video. The man is truly broken. He seems shaken and about to cry.

I nominated Cuomo for Crappy Politician of the Year last year due to his COVID Mission Accomplished book tour, but it wasn't time. Now may be the time for Mr. Cuomo to claim the prize.

I think that was more crappy politics. This one is more just that no politics could save him from being a crappy person. Apparently he was good at politics for New York, having survived so long.
Hope he just goes away.

Meant that in the purely colloquial sense, and not as any organizational reference, but I see I teed that up nicely. Well-played.
