| Description | Centrist pro-development party focused on fiscal restraint an d global accounting principles. Party's been led since 2017 by East Timor's Prime Minister and former President, José Maria Vasconcelos, otherwise known by his nom de guerre, Taur Matan Ruak ("two Sharp Eyes"). Ruak conceived of and launched the governing Majority Alliance for Progress coalition, which included the PLP, the CNRT and KHUNTO [Partidu Libertasaun Popular (PLP)]. |
