Do I need to create a profile for myself?

Not everyone will need to create a user profile. All election statistics and discussion are available to the general public. However, creating a user profile has certain advantages. You have to have a user profile in order to:
1) Participate in site discussions.
2) Be eligible for adding election information.
3) Participate in site elections ('silly' races).
4) View the information section of user profiles.
If you do not need to participate in these aspects of OurCampaigns, you will not need to create a user profile.
