| Description | The riding includes most of the northern part of the city of Victoria, inlcuding the area north of Bay Street, as well as the southern section of Saanich including the area south of McKenzie Avenue/Highway 17/Highway 1.
It's an urban/suburban area, with working class neighbourhoods and includes some students living near the University of Victoria.
In the 2008 redistribution, Victoria-Hillside became Victoria-Swan Lake - kept 81% of the riding; added 13% of Saanich South and 3% of Oak Bay-Gordon Head. |
